About the visit
This industry visit takes delegates to leading vertically integrated Egyptian textile manufacturing in the City of Mehala, one of Egypt’s principal textile cluster hubs. Delegates will observe modern spinning, weaving, dyeing, home textile and garment finishing, and quality control processes, with direct exposure to industrial-scale textile and apparel operations. The visit is scheduled for 17 December 2026, with transfers arranged for eligible international registration packages.

Visit itinerary
The visit is scheduled for 17 December 2026. Delegates will depart from the official conference shuttle point and return to the official conference hotel by early evening.

Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Sandals, heels, and open footwear are not permitted on the factory floor.
Photography inside production areas requires prior written approval from plant management — ask your guide before taking photos.
Safety vests, hairnets, and hearing protection will be provided and must be worn at all times in designated areas.
Please inform organizers in advance of any mobility requirements — most areas are accessible but some sections involve stairs.
Valid passport or national ID required for facility security clearance — bring photo ID on the day.
