Terms and Conditions

The 2026 International Conference on AI, Advanced Materials and Future of Textiles & Apparel, hereinafter referred to as the “Conference”, will be held from 15 to 17 December 2026 in Cairo, Egypt, and is organised by EgyTex and its conference partners, hereinafter referred to as the “Organisers”.

By registering for or attending the Conference, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms and conditions contained on this page.

Anyone who does not agree with these terms should not register for or attend the Conference.

2.1 Registration Requirements

• All attendees must complete the official registration process through the conference website.
• Registrants must provide accurate, current, and truthful information.
• Registrants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any registration credentials issued to them.
• Conference access may not be shared with an unregistered person.

2.3 Registration Acceptance

The Organisers reserve the right to accept or decline a registration where reasonably necessary, including cases involving:

• Previous violations of conference conduct requirements.
• Fraudulent, incomplete, or misleading registration information.
• Risks to the safety, security, or integrity of the Conference.
• Failure to complete payment or provide required documentation.

3.1 Payment Terms

• Conference fees are displayed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP), unless another currency is expressly shown during checkout.
• Payment must be received in full before conference access is confirmed.
• Payments may be processed through Paymob or another designated secure payment provider.
• Applicable payment gateway, exchange, or bank charges may be disclosed during checkout.
• The registrant is responsible for ensuring that the payment information provided is correct.

3.3 Currency and Exchange Rates

Payments are processed in the currency displayed during checkout. Currency conversion rates and international transaction charges are determined by the registrant’s bank or the payment provider and are outside the Organisers’ control.

4.3 Conference Materials

The conference website, programme, promotional materials, photographs, recordings, graphics, and materials produced by the Organisers are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. They may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes only unless written permission is provided.

4.4 Third-Party Content

Attendees and contributors must respect all copyrights, trademarks, data rights, and other intellectual property belonging to third parties.

The Conference is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, safe, and inclusive environment for attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, partners, volunteers, and staff.

5.1 Professional Conduct

• Treat all participants and staff with respect and professionalism.
• Participate in discussions constructively and without hostility.
• Respect different opinions, disciplines, cultures, and professional backgrounds.
• Follow venue, safety, security, and staff instructions.

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

• Harassment, sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying, or intimidation.
• Threatening, abusive, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour.
• Illegal activities or behaviour that threatens public safety.
• Unauthorised commercial promotion, solicitation, or distribution of promotional materials.
• Misuse of another attendee’s work, personal information, or intellectual property.

5.3 Enforcement

Depending on the seriousness of the violation, the Organisers may issue a warning, remove a participant from a session, remove them from the Conference without refund, prohibit future participation, or refer the matter to the appropriate authorities.

6.1 Cancellation, Postponement, or Rescheduling

The Organisers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or reschedule the Conference where necessary due to circumstances including:

• Natural disasters, severe weather, or other force majeure events.
• Government restrictions, travel restrictions, or legal requirements.
• Public health emergencies, epidemics, or pandemics.
• War, terrorism, civil unrest, or serious security concerns.
• Events beyond the Organisers’ reasonable control.

Where practical, affected registrants may be offered the option to attend a rescheduled event, transfer their registration, or receive a refund in accordance with the applicable Refund Policy.

6.2 Personal Responsibility

The Organisers are not responsible for loss, theft, damage to personal property, travel disruption, personal disputes, or the independent actions and statements of speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, or attendees.

6.3 Health and Safety

• Attendees are responsible for assessing their ability to travel and attend.
• International attendees are encouraged to obtain appropriate medical and travel insurance.
• All attendees must comply with venue safety procedures and staff instructions.

6.4 No Endorsement

The inclusion of any speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, partner, product, service, or opinion does not constitute endorsement by the Organisers.

6.5 Limitation on Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organisers’ total liability arising from a registration shall not exceed the amount paid for that registration.

Registration, submission, and website data are collected and processed for conference administration, payment, communication, academic review, security, and event management.

Registrants may receive emails concerning registration, programme updates, venue information, schedule changes, and post-conference communications. Marketing communications may include an unsubscribe option where applicable.

8.1 International Attendees

International participants are responsible for:

• Holding a valid passport and obtaining an Egyptian entry visa where required.
• Confirming visa requirements with the appropriate Egyptian embassy or consulate.
• Arranging flights, accommodation, transportation, insurance, and personal travel documentation.
• Complying with Egyptian laws and applicable travel regulations.

8.3 Invitation Letters

The Organisers may provide a conference invitation letter after registration requirements are satisfied. An invitation letter does not guarantee a visa and does not constitute formal visa sponsorship.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Egypt.

Parties should first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith communication and negotiation. Where necessary, the parties may agree to mediation, arbitration, or another lawful form of dispute resolution.

Disputes must be pursued on an individual basis unless otherwise required by applicable law.

The Organisers may update the programme, speakers, sessions, schedules, formats, rooms, venue arrangements, exhibition details, or supporting activities where operationally necessary.

Material changes will be communicated through the conference website, registration email address, or other official conference communication channels.

Minor timing or programme changes may be made without individual advance notice.

The Organisers may update these Terms and Conditions when necessary to reflect operational, legal, payment, venue, or programme changes.

The latest version will be published on the conference website with an updated revision date.

Continued registration or attendance after publication of a revised version constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, subject to applicable law.
