Submission Guidelines
Author Guidelines
The abstract should cover the research background and objectives,
methodology, results and discussion, conclusions, and practical or
scientific implications. Please read the requirements below carefully
before submitting. Abstracts that do not meet the stated requirements
will not be considered for review.
Abstract Requirements
- Maximum length of 300 words
- Written in English
- Times New Roman, 12-point font
- Single-spaced formatting
- Use SI units where applicable
- Structured to include background, objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions
- No tables, figures, or references within the abstract body
- The abstract text must be anonymised and must not include author names
- Define each abbreviation when it is first used
Author Information
- List all authors using their full names
- Clearly identify the corresponding author
- Provide the institutional affiliation of every author
- ORCID identifiers are recommended
- A maximum of six authors is allowed for each abstract
Presentation Formats
- Oral presentation: 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes for questions
- Poster presentation using A1 format
- Industry showcase: 20 minutes for approved practitioner submissions
- Authors should indicate their preferred format during submission
Review Process
- Abstracts undergo blind peer review by subject specialists
- Submissions are assessed for originality, relevance, quality, and clarity
- Decisions may include acceptance, minor revision, or rejection
- Review results will be communicated by 30 September 2026

Can I submit to more than one track?
Each abstract may only be submitted to one track. However, you may submit separate, distinct abstracts to different tracks if your research covers multiple areas.
Can I edit my abstract after submission?
Yes. You can edit your submitted abstract up until the abstract submission deadline of 15 September 2026, using the submission reference sent to your confirmation email.
What happens after the deadline?
All submitted abstracts undergo blind peer review. Authors will be notified of the outcome by 30 September 2026.
Is registration required before submitting an abstract?
No. You can submit an abstract before registering. If your abstract is accepted, you will need to register for the conference to present your work.
Can industry practitioners submit?
Yes. Industry practitioners, innovative machine suppliers, entrepreneurs, designers, and professionals are welcome to submit, especially to the industry-focused and entrepreneurship-related tracks.
